A fourth person pens: “There is an overwhelming sense of unease and dread that just overtakes the entire film. it is not what I was expecting and I love what it was we ended up getting.”
“A woman behind us started crying halfway through lmao. 10/10 movie,” comments a fifth.
It’s obvious that critics have enjoyed the movie as well.

Maika Monroe, a horror actress most recognized for her breakthrough role in It Follows, co-stars with Nicolas Cage in the latest film.
Its description reads: “A newly minted FBI Agent (Maika Monroe) winds up becoming embroiled in the pursuit of a serial killer named Longlegs, with ties to the occult.”
Fans love walking into the movie with no idea what to expect, even if it’s reasonable to assume that this does not reveal much about the plot.
To raise interest in the film, Perkins has taken an intriguing turn.
According to IndieWire, cryptic codes found in The Seattle Times directed curious readers to a homepage brimming with hints.
The director’s selection of glam rock for the soundtrack, which features songs primarily from the English rock group T-Rex, is another intriguing feature of the film.
Monroe revealed that Perkins “Made a playlist prior to filming, which had a lot of T-Rex on it, and older rock music,” in an interview with Dread Central.
“It’s incredible,” the actress continued. That kind of music was incredibly well-suited to this genre. As an actor, music is really essential to me.
As of right now, Longlegs has an IMDb rating of 7.7/10 and a Rotten Tomatoes score of 68%.
