It’s believed that Meghan Markle’s brand-new Netflix cookery series is now fully filmed.

The streaming behemoth has offered her and Prince Harry a $100 million, five-year deal, part of which calls for this series to “celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship.” The show has not yet been given a name, but it already contains a lot of information.

It is expected to include well-known chefs, such as Michael Steed, who collaborated with Anthony Bourdain on the Emmy-winning Parts Unknown. Additionally, it has been recorded in at least two locations: a five-million-dollar mansion a short distance from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Montecito, California residence, and a florist there where they reside with their two kids.

One source added in an interview with The Daily Beast, “It all went well, and it is in the can.” But while filming is thought to have gone well, one critic has already blasted the series.

Sky News host Rita Panahi said: “Meghan Markle has just wrapped up filming on a new cooking and home show for Netflix, a show which has yet to receive a formal title or air date, as part of the Sussexes $100m deal and was filmed at a property near their Montecito mansion in Los Angeles.

“It’s apparently going to focus on the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship – and I’ve gotta say, it sounds bloody awful.”

Meanwhile PR consultant and royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told the Mirror: “It runs out next year and Netflix are no longer producing the series of The Crown, as they previously were. They might therefore have less interest in the Sussexes.”

“If they lost this contract, with Archewell, their business and charitable foundation, having so few donors, they might well be in financial trouble. Since their exposés of royal life has made megabucks, but little else has made money, the Royal Family better hope that this unpredictable and ruthlessly ambitious couple stays with Netflix.”
