Katie Price has openly shared her personal challenges over the years, such as bankruptcy, relationship troubles, and depression.
In her newest memoir, This Is Me: The high life. The dark times. The FULL story, the 46-year-old delves even deeper into her past, present, and future, including what she might do if her income falls too low.
Katie was first declared bankrupt in 2019 and then again in March this year, reportedly due to a tax bill of over £750,000 owed to HMRC.
Although she was once “triggered” by the term, the mother of five now says she no longer fears bankruptcy because she “sees a way out” with a plan, according to the Mirror.
The model mentioned that if her earnings become too low, she would consider providing companionship to strangers for money.
Looking back on her tough times, she said: “Sometimes it does take a great deal of strength for me to remind myself that I’m OK.”
“I have my house, I have my children, I have my family. The other thought that I will repeat to myself over and over again is, ’nothing is the end of the world'.
“There’s probably nothing I can’t face that hasn’t been thrown at me already. I will always earn more money, I will always fight for my children, and I will never let myself get into the dark place again.”
Katie added that bankruptcy doesn’t “hold the same fear now” as it once did because if material things are taken away, she is confident she can earn them back.
“I will get into escorting if I need to, not to sleep with men, just for company. To be on their arm for a dinner date or something,” she revealed.
“I think I’d be good at that. My mum would tell me I need to work on my table manners first though.”
Currently, Katie, who is dating JJ Slater from Married At First Sight UK, mentioned she is still making “good money” through different avenues, including her OnlyFans page.
After her recent bankruptcy case, a judge ruled that she must give up nearly half of her monthly income from the adult entertainment site to pay off her debts.
Reacting to earlier claims that she had only made £150 on the site, she strongly refuted them, saying that figure was far from accurate.
Talking with Lewis Raymond Taylor on the Turning Adversity Into An Asset podcast, she questioned: “Do you think someone who has been doing that for a career for 25 years is only going to make £150?”
“Maybe put a couple more zeros on that and you’ll be a lot closer. People only hear what they want to hear, and I think that’s the damaging thing for more.”
She concluded, defiantly: “I no longer have to justify anything to anyone any more I’m living proof that I can be knocked down to the gutter and come back up.”
