LG Velvet

The latest release of LG Velvet smartphones is helping LG to slowly bounce back in the smartphone industry after many years of losses. When LG first launched the LG Velvet series at the beginning of 2020, the company took the smartphone world by storm. The acceptance of the updated design and LG Velvet User Interface by the huge number of people made them rethink using the interface in other devices in place of the earlier LG User Experience Interface. Recently, LG has declared that it will extend the Velvet user interface.

Smartphones receiving LG Velvet User Interface

LG’s Velvet User Interface was well appreciated by the smartphone users using smartphones developed with LG velvet interface and brought the company many customers preferring to use smartphones of the different brand earlier. The company will begin shipping smartphones with LG Velvet User Interface in the LG Q series smartphones like LG Q51 and Q 61.

Then the company will move towards older smartphones. LG V50 ThinQ, V50S ThinQ, V35 ThinQ, V40ThinQ, G8 ThinkQ, and the G7 ThinQ will be the first of the smartphones to receive LG Velvet user interface, says the reports. The company’s attention towards the older smartphones seems to be taken as an outcome of the thousands of complaints that the company received regarding their negligence to older smartphones. If the user interface update to older smartphones is because of the consumer complaints, then this is a welcome change.

LG Velvet Use Interface is not a new concept

The Velvet User Interface is not a completely new concept. All LG smartphones released earlier were programmed with LG User Experience Interface Velvet User Interface is just some changes and updates on the LG User Interface. The programmers made some simple changes like sound adjustments, user-enabled color personalization, call pop up windows, and things similar to that. Smartphone users operating both old smartphones, programmed with LG User Experience Interface, and new smartphones, designed with LG Velvet User Interface say that there is no significant difference between the two interfaces. Changes big or small does not matter as long as positive changes are made. The best part is, LG smartphone users having older generation smartphones, and thinking about changing their smartphone models and brand can rethink their decision. They should wait for the Velvet User Interface update and explore the new user interface.
