Sony Xperia 1 II

After unveiling the black and purple variants of the Xperia 1 II, Sony is now gearing up to release the phone in a third color option. The Frost Black model, which was released in Japan a few months ago, featured a matte finish. It was the first Sony model to do so. Besides the new color variant, Sony is also bumping up the RAM in this model. The Mirror Lake Green edition will have a glossy glass back as usual.

Xperia 1 II – Release date and RAM

The Mirror Lake Green edition will first launch in Taiwan on 20th October. Regardless of the offline release, online stores have already showcased the new model. Similar to the Frost Black edition, the latest version has 12GB RAM with 256GB storage space. The increase in RAM makes the Mirror Lake Green Xperia 1 II stand out from its fellow variants. Except for the RAM, every other feature of this phone is similar to the other models.

Xperia 1 II – Price and Availability

The official price for Sony’s newest is still unknown. It is unclear if the company will release the model outside of Taiwan. However, flying rumors suggest that it will be available in Japan at the end of October 2020. Considering the success of the previous models, it is safe to assume that this one, too, will fetch in a lot of revenue for Sony, especially after its edge on the ramped-up RAM.
