iPhone 12

A few days ago, Apple came up with a series of new models, namely, the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and the iPhone 12 mini. The leading smartphone company claimed that its newest model, iPhone 12 mini, is the smallest, lightest, and thinnest 5G phone in the world. In its official commercial, the device looked extremely small as compared to most phones. But, is it really that small in size?

The iPhone 12 mini features a 5.4-inch display, which is smaller than the Samsung Galaxy S20’s 6.2-inch display, Google Pixel 5’s 6-inch display, and other phones of recent times. However, the market for small phones isn’t dead yet!

The two phones weigh 4.76 ounces and 5.2 ounces, respectively. iPhone 12 mini has an advantage due to its 5G supporting format and a second rear camera.

In comparison with the other iPhone 12 models, the iPhone 12 mini, as its name suggests, is smaller than all of them. Plus, it is one whole ounce lighter than the regular iPhone 12. It is narrower and shorter and can easily fit into a jeans pocket. The iPhone 12 Pro has the same dimensions as the iPhone 12 but is heavier due to its telephoto lens and LiDAR sensor.

iPhone 12 mini – a final verdict on the size

The size of the phone will not affect the sales as many 4.7-inch display iPhone users will love this upgrade. Moreover, the new model comes with a faster A14 Bionic processor, better drop resistance, and an improved camera. However, it might not be very popular with large-screen lovers.
