Samsung Galaxy M12

Just few weeks ago, we got the opportunity to take a sneak-peek at the live shots of the so-called Galaxy M12 smartphone. Steve (@Onleaks) has shared pictures of the first ever 3D images of the smartphone, including the dimensions and the display specs. This device, in which Samsung is most likely to release during early 2021, will be named as Galaxy M12. Steve, however, isn’t really sure about the name being decided and says that there is possibility of it being varied with regard to different regions. Plus, the images shared by him reveal the display and a similar rear panel as the earlier leak. It also owns the same squircle camera layout with four identical sensors and an LED flash right beneath the camera bulge. Further, the rear shell has a specially designed dual-textured look with a striped top and a shiny bottom finish, which resembles that of Google’s Pixel design, but only in reverse. The images also show reveal the power button with a built-in fingerprint sensor and few volume buttons on the right of the phone.

Samsung Galaxy M12Display, Dimensional Design of Samsung Galaxy M12

The Samsung Galaxy M12 will sport a 6.5-inch flat display with an Infinity-V notch. This rendition is also very much different than the earlier rumour of a 6.7-inch display. The device will have a measure of 163.9 x 75.9 x 8.9mm. This hints at the possibility of the device having a lesser 8.9mm thickness, in comparison with its predecessor Galaxy M11 (9.0mm). The thickness will increase up tp 10mm if you count in the camera bump. With that, the side fingerprint sensors suggest that the device must have the existence of an LCD display, in order keep the costs low. A SIM card tray is also visible to the left of the phone. The bottom of the device also seems to posses a USB-C, 3.5mm audio jack, speaker ports, etc. With the information lent to us by Steve, we may only hope that the predictions may be true. The release dates, prices and online shipments are yet to be announced by Samsung.
