When it comes to a wide variety of film genres, romantic comedies are the most popular. All of us fall in love with the genre. Whatever the medium, whether it be a film, a web series, or an anime, rom-coms never fail to make us laugh while also making us feel a few butterflies in our stomach.
People enjoy romantic comedies because they know what to expect: something identifiable, hopefully amusing, and with a satisfying conclusion that can be predicted from the moment the two main characters, a man and a woman, meet.
A popular anime series is known as “Osamake: Romcom Where the Childhood Friend Won’t Lose” is on the list below. The first season of Osamake has already premiered, and in this post, we’ve discussed the show’s renewal status, release date, characters, and narrative.
Japanese anime television series Osamake, also known as “A Romantic Comedy in Which the Childhood Friend Definitely Will Not Lose,” is based on the light novel series of the same name written and drawn by Shichi Nimaru and Ui Shigure, respectively. It has also been serialized in the seinen manga magazine Monthly Comic Alive from Media Factory starting November 2019, with artwork by Ryo It.
On October 3rd, 2020, a new anime TV series was announced. Doga Kobo and Takashi Naoya were responsible for the series’ animation, while Yoriko Tomita handled the series’ structure. The characters were also created by Naoya.
It aired on AT-X and other stations from April 14 to June 30, 2021. There were 12 episodes in the series. Outside of Asia, the series was licensed by Crunchyroll. The series will be streamed on Muse Asia’s YouTube page and Bilibili throughout Southeast Asia and South Asia.
However, Kadokawa announced in May 2021 that they will be producing no fewer than 40 anime projects per year by 2023, an increase of 20% over the current 33 titles they produce each year. Newer Kadokawa light books and manga series are likely to be involved in many of these projects, and it’s probable that there may be many more to come in the future as well
In addition, sales of variants and interest in anime were also enhanced. More than 50,000 people have given the anime Osamake a rating of 6.31/10 on MyAnimeList, making it one of the most popular. The show has a 5.9/10 rating on IMDb.
Osamake Season 2 is very likely to be released shortly, given all of the above. We can expect to be released in the spring, summer, or winter of 2023 if the second season is declared this year. Keep an eye on our site, and you’ll be the first to learn about any future changes to Osamake.
