VFX Supervisor for The Boys Teases More Gross Scenes in Season 4

Stephan Fleet, who is in charge of The Boys’ visual effects, teases the audience about the gross-out jokes that will be featured in the fourth season of the superhero comedy.
Stephan Fleet, the visual effects supervisor for The Boys, recently hinted that additional obscene sequences, which have become synonymous with the Prime Video series, may appear in Season 4.

The gross-out jokes from the upcoming fourth season were alluded to by Fleet.

With the tweet “My eyes can’t unsee what I just saw right now,” Fleet gave a hint about the gross-out jokes in the upcoming fourth season. The VFX expert remained tight-lipped about what had caused him to feel so rattled, but it had to be exceptionally intense to merit comment. Despite this, it’s challenging to think of a way in which anything in Season 4 might surpass the most frightening events of the third season. Particularly during scenes set during the superhero orgy known as “Herogasm,” Season 3 of The Boys is famed for pushing the limits of taste further than prior seasons.

Under Toronto, Canada, work is now in progress on The Boys Season 4. In a post on Instagram, the show’s star Erin Moriarty mirrored Fleet’s thoughts by describing the fourth season’s plotlines as “eyes” emojis, suggesting how frightening they are. Moriarty, who plays Annie January/Starlight, also posted a photo of herself with co-stars Jack Quaid, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone, and Laz Alonso. She warned fans not to claim she didn’t warn them about Season 4’s more suggestive content in the caption.

What will The Boys Season 4 bring?

Eric Kripke, the creator of The Boys, tweeted shortly after Moriarty’s Instagram post to disclose the title of the premiere episode for Season 4: “Department of Dirty Tricks.” The episode’s actual narrative details are now hard to come by, but the title gives another hint at how much seedier the programme is going in that direction. The only information available about “Department of Dirty Tricks” at this time is that it was written and directed by series veterans Dave Reed and Phil Sgriccia.

There is also no information on whether Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who joined the cast of the Prime Video programme The Boys in August 2022, will make his series debut in the season 4 premiere of The Boys. As a previous cast member of Watchmen, The Walking Dead, The Losers, Jonah Hex, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the actor is no stranger to comic book adaptations. The specifics of Morgan’s position in the show are yet unknown, and it’s also unclear whether he’ll appear in any scenes alongside Jensen Ackles, his The Boys Season 3 co-star and former Supernatural co-star. Seasons 1–3 of The Boys are available to watch right now on Prime Video. No date has been set for the premiere of Season 4.
