For those who need a quick, simple, on-the-go breakfast in the morning, Chick-fil-A is bringing back a well-liked breakfast item. In a few locations, the casual dining establishment will introduce a brand-new breakfast offering for the first time since 2017: Egg Bites with Chorizo and Cheddar. The four-pack order, according to Delish, is constructed with whole eggs, chorizo sausage, and a combination of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. With the expectation that customers will adore the new item, Chick-fil-A is testing the order in a few markets. If it is a success, they will be available at all Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout the nation.
The decision was made in time for parents and children who would be starting school in the upcoming days and weeks. The launch coincides with hundreds of firms offering fresh and restocked pumpkin-spiced products in time for the Fall seasons. For a pumpkin-spiced variation of the well-known bite-sized treat, Dunkin’ Donuts has teamed up with Goldfish. On September 1st, they will formally arrive on store shelves all around the country, with a bag costing, on average, $3.39. There are additional products for the change in season from other retail chains and companies like Starbucks, 7-Eleven, Krispy Kreme, and Oreo.
Without Sacrificing Taste:
“As summer comes to an end and the back-to-school morning routine begins, we wanted to offer our customers a new protein-packed entrée that keeps them satisfied on the go without sacrificing taste,” said Leslie Neslage, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A, Inc., in a statement about the menu item. “Our guests have requested more bite-sized, sharing breakfast options, and we are excited to hear what they think about our limited-time Chorizo Cheddar Egg Bites test.” Customers in the following cities will be able to try out the new item starting August 22. Anyone ordering from Chick-fil-A in Augusta, Georgia; Aiken, South Carolina; Columbus, Ohio; Norfolk and Portsmouth, Virginia; Miami, and New Orleans can add the item to their cart.
Chorizo Cheddar Egg Bites:
The first breakfast dish that Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A has tested in five years is Chorizo Cheddar Egg Bites. Each order will come with four whole egg-based egg bits, chorizo sausage cooked in the style of Mexico, and a mixture of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. Beginning the following week, the egg bites will be available in Augusta. If the new item will appear on future menus across the country will depend on customer feedback. We’re eager to learn what our limited-time Chorizo Cheddar Egg Bites test’s results will be because more bite-sized, sharing breakfast alternatives are being requested by our customers.
According to the firm, the new item will be available at Chick-fil-A locations in the following cities: Augusta, Georgia; Aiken, South Carolina; Columbus, Ohio; Norfolk and Portsmouth, Virginia; Miami, Florida; and New Orleans, Louisiana. Chick-fil-A said that if the Chorizo Cheddar Egg Bites are a hit, they “may be offered on menus nationwide in the future.” According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), which published its annual restaurant poll for the 2021–2022 year in July, Chick-fil-A has maintained its status as America’s favourite restaurant for eight years in a row.
