The singer took to Instagram to share this painful news where she revealed that she has experienced her first miscarriage this month. In the post she wrote how this year ended in a state of sadness for her as she suffered first miscarriage. She thanked her family for helping her to move over the heartbreaking loss and celebrate the holidays. She said that she couldn’t imagine spending a year isolated with anyone else. The 37-year old songwriter shared a series of pictures where she can be seen enjoying the holidays with her husband and children. The singer finished her post by wishing Merry Christmas to everyone.

In the same year, she went on to win a Grammy for her song “The game of Love” in the “Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals” category.

Branch got married to Patrick Carney in 2019 after being separated by her ex-husband Teddy Landau in 2014 to whom she shares her 15 year old daughter, Owen Isabelle. She has also a 2 year old son with her husband Carney. The two starting dating in 2015 and eventually got engaged in 2017 and tied the knot in year 2019 at New Orleans.
