Where was the most celebrated show “ Little house on the Prairie” was shot?

Little house on the prairie was one of the most iconic and loved show to ever air on American television. Little house on the prairie remain popular even after decade of it being aired Even now nearly 40 years after the show went off air it still get on the eye of new fans.
Milessa Gilbert, who played Laura Ingalls on the show, said some little house on prairie episodes have proven relevant to 2020, it still teaches people that we can prevail, no matter how difficult times are.
Although the show might have been based in Minnesota but most of the outdoor shoots were filmed somewhere else.

Where the Actual show was shot ?

While little house on prairie was based on Minnesota , most of the shows outdoor scene was shot in Simmi valley, California with big sky ranch where the outdoor scenes were filmed. The ranch was also regularly utilized as a television or movie set, ‘Coming to America’ starring Eddie murphy filmed some of its shots at big sky ranch.
The majority of the show were filmed at paramount studios. In later episodes it moved to MGM sound stage about 40miles away. The show wrapped its 9th season on MGM sets.
