Luca Pferdmenges has explored numerous destinations worldwide, sharing his experiences on his TikTok account.
This German traveler has almost three million followers who keep up with his adventures on the platform.
He uploads videos of every place he travels to, showcasing things like sampling local dishes and even visiting some of the world’s most dangerous cities.
In addition to his love for travel, the 22-year-old has achieved four Guinness World Records, one of which includes being the first to juggle 16 balls alongside a partner.
He leads the World Juggling Federation in Germany and has also taught juggling to children during his trips to countries like Afghanistan and Uganda.
Now, he’s finally disclosed the most irritating destination he’s ever been to.
Pferdmenges’ recent comments have sparked some debate online, with one person remarking, “He is 22. His priorities are very different than an adult over 40. He might not appreciate the travel sites the same way he might in the future.”
Another person harshly stated, “Imagine how soul-destroyingly dull he must be. I’d avoid him like the plague at a party!”
A third critic pointed out, “He started to travel with 15 and now he’s 22. That’s an average of 27 countries per year. Definitely not enough to be able to make a judgment.”
During an interview with the Daily Mail, Pferdmenges shared, “I enjoy my life as a content creator, otherwise I would not do it. I love it. The freedom it gives me is insane and I am very grateful to be able to travel for a living.”
Pferdmenges has a goal of visiting every country on the planet.
The United Nations officially acknowledges 195 countries, but according to BBC’s Science Focus, the total number of countries in the world can vary depending on the source.
He continues to upload videos from each country he travels to, highlighting experiences like tasting the local food and exploring some of the most dangerous cities.
Additionally, he co-authored and self-published a travel book titled ‘Billig Reisen.’
Travel content is booming on platforms like TikTok and YouTube, with creators like Drew Binsky leading the way. He has managed to visit every country in the world.
Binsky has built a massive online presence, with over 12 million followers and more than 4 billion views across his social media platforms. He recently gained attention after revealing the best destination he’s ever visited.
Now, Luca Pferdmenges has shared his own thoughts on traveling, even naming what he believes to be the most frustrating country in the world.
Pferdmenges pointed out that Afghanistan is among the most budget-friendly places he’s visited. He also mentioned to the Daily Mail several other countries that often get overlooked.
The 22-year-old traveler said, “Uzbekistan and some others in Central Asia, Baltic countries, Myanmar, North Macedonia, Bhutan, Montenegro, and most countries in Latin America.
“People usually forget they exist, but they’re often way more exciting and more affordable than the ‘classic tourism destinations.'”
Pferdmenges also mentioned that there are hidden treasures around the world that many people aren’t aware of, and he highlighted Bhutan and Myanmar as some of the most beautiful countries he has seen.
He went on to say that he’s not in any rush to revisit Belgium, which he described as ‘unsafe’ and ‘ugly.’
Pferdmenges commented, “It feels super unsafe at night in my opinion – and I’m talking about Brussels here. And many of the Belgian cities are pretty ugly as well. Grey and depressive, especially in winter.”
He also pointed out that areas like Brussels North, as well as certain parts of Paris, London, and Frankfurt, feel particularly dangerous after dark.
When asked about the best country he had ever visited, he found it difficult to choose just one. Instead, he listed some of his top destinations: “My favorite places overall – in no particular order: Mexico, Brazil, Israel, Spain, Bhutan, UK, UAE, Portugal, Austria.”
Pferdmenges praised Mexico for its food and mentioned that Israel has excellent vegan Middle Eastern cuisine.
He also complimented Lebanon’s Middle Eastern dishes, enjoyed Ethiopia’s Injera, and noted that Germany and the UK have the best supermarkets.
However, he was critical of countries like Haiti, Chad, and some small Pacific islands for their limited or unhealthy food choices.
According to Pferdmenges, the most frustrating country to visit is Egypt.
“Egypt is the most annoying country for tourists in my opinion,” said the 22-year-old traveler.
He went on to add, “Egypt, France, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, most of the Caribbean Lesser Antilles. They’re often very touristy and often don’t have much besides pretty beaches. The Caribbean is super-overrated, the Lesser Antilles, at least.”
Pferdmenges is determined to complete his goal of visiting every country in the world in the near future.
