“Your daddy was by my side through the entire pregnancy,” the post read. “I’m so grateful for his love and support.”

The post quickly spread online, garnering significant attention.

However, representatives for Grohl have denied the claims, confirming to TMZ that the post is completely fabricated.

On September 10, the “Foo Fighters” frontman issued a statement addressing a child he fathered outside his marriage.

Posted on Instagram, it discussed his efforts to rebuild trust within his family following the revelation of his infidelity.

“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl wrote. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.”

“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he continued. “We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

The statement was signed simply, “Dave.”
