As children, many of us fantasized about encountering Bigfoot, but one unsuspecting traveler may have stumbled upon the legendary creature in a recent video from Colorado.
The footage captures what appears to be a Sasquatch leisurely strolling across a canyon before taking a seat. But is this the real Bigfoot, or is it part of an elaborate hoax? Let’s delve into the details.
The video was originally shared on Facebook by user Shannon Parker, who recounted how he accidentally spotted the creature while on a train journey.
Traveling on the Durango and Silverton railroad on October 8, Parker and another person noticed an unusual figure moving through the grass.
Unable to approach it closely, Parker and fellow traveler Stetson Tyler tried to identify the mysterious sighting and came to the astonishing conclusion that it might indeed be Bigfoot.
Another passenger named ‘Brandon’ captured the remarkable clip after Parker had taken a few snapshots of the creature in the San Juan National Forest.
Parker uploaded the video and images to social media, accompanied by a lengthy caption describing how he observed the mythical creature trekking up the mountain.
Clearly fatigued, the creature eventually decided to rest and sat down within full view of the passing train.
According to Parker, out of the ‘hundreds’ of passengers onboard, only the three men had witnessed this supposed Sasquatch.
The post quickly gained traction on social media, sparking heated debates between Bigfoot believers and skeptics who think it might just be a person in a costume.
In fact, the video has garnered over 1.6 million views on Twitter, despite the original video receiving only 84 likes.
One enthusiastic supporter tweeted, “Was a little skeptical about this, until I saw the length of the arm. The hand was all the way down to the knee. Clearly a bigfoot.”
Another user suggested that this new footage could be the most compelling evidence since the infamous Patterson-Gimlin clip that made headlines in the 1960s.
They stated: “Best video since Patterson tape.”
A third individual, seemingly apprehensive about the apocalypse, penned: “The portal has been opened the beasts will roam the earth…” (Cheery!)
Some remained skeptical and less pessimistic, to be frank.
“They are elusive because they take their costumes off after you get your shot,” joked an unimpressed Twitter user.
“That costume would be a little more convincing if it weren’t so baggy,” teased someone else.
It appears that Bigfoot is quite the traveler, as two other individuals have also claimed to have spotted him in a different North American forest earlier this year.
No wonder he decided to take a break after all that walking!
