Simon Cowell is a well-known English TV personality, entrepreneur, and record executive, famous for judging on shows like Pop Idol, The X Factor, and America’s Got Talent.
He’s also known for his changing appearance, which has led some fans to wonder if he’s had plastic surgery.
This speculation grew after a video of him went viral.
Cowell has openly talked about his cosmetic procedures.
In a 2018 interview with The Sun, he admitted to having a treatment called the 21st-century facelift.
He visited Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh for a Silhouette Soft Lift, a procedure that tightens the face and neck.
Chatting to The Sun, Cowell mentioned, “There’s lots of things you can do now. You don’t just have to stuff your face with filler and Botox.”
He also noted that he might have had a bit too much treatment in the past. Referencing a time when fans noticed his seemingly puffy eyes and bruising, he added: “I probably did have a little too much a couple of years ago.”
In a 2022 interview, he said he stopped using injectables because he felt he had “gone a bit too far.”
He shared, “I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognize it as me first of all.”
“Eric (his son) was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.”
Recently, Cowell sparked new rumors about cosmetic surgery after a now-deleted video was posted on the X (formerly Twitter) account for Britain’s Got Talent.
In the video, Cowell encouraged people to audition for the show, but fans noticed his appearance looked different.
He said: “I always say on this show, two or three minutes can change your life. And it has. And maybe this time it’s gonna be you.”
“So please audition now for next year’s season and I look forward to meeting you.”
However, the video sparked conversation among fans for a completely different reason—Cowell’s noticeably altered appearance.
One viewer commented: “That doesn’t look like him at all.”
Another questioned: “What’s he done to his face?”
Similarly, a third fan asked: “Is that Simon Cowell? What’s happened to his face?”
Some even found it hard to believe it was him.
Others suggested his changed appearance might be due to a motorcycle accident in August 2020, which required him to have a metal rod inserted in his back, per The Independent.
