Jennifer Coolidge Reveals She Lived With ‘American Pie’ Co-Star After Their On-Screen Romance

Jennifer Coolidge and Eddie Kaye Thomas, known for their roles as lovers in the “American Pie” series, lived together in reality, though their off-screen relationship was much different.

Coolidge, famous for her role as Stifler’s mom, and Thomas, who played Finch, are well-remembered for their on-screen chemistry.

They even shared a home in Los Angeles for a year or two during the early 2000s. However, Coolidge pointed out that she “wasn’t the love of his life” and that they maintained separate living spaces.

In an interview with GQ, she described their relationship as purely platonic.

Thomas had girlfriends who would visit, and Coolidge’s bedroom was just across the hallway from his. Their real-life interaction bore no resemblance to their film relationship.

Reflecting on her role in “American Pie,” Coolidge noted that it significantly boosted her dating life.

At one point, she mentioned having slept with around 200 people due to the film’s influence, though she later admitted that this number was “sort of an exaggeration.” Nevertheless, the role had a profound impact on her personal life.

“It helped my dating life in a way that I can’t ever explain. If I hadn’t had that movie, I don’t think… Well, let’s just say it would’ve been a very dull decade,” she remarked.

Jennifer Coolidge once shared with Ariana Grande how her role as Stifler’s mom not only boosted her acting career but also introduced her to a host of ‘very, very charming’ men.

She fondly remembered one gentleman in particular who not only caught her eye but also recommended a great spot for a blow dry afterward.

Currently, Coolidge is enjoying a successful streak, notably for her role in “The White Lotus.”

Her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes was memorable for its candidness and a touch of humor, even if she did mistakenly refer to the event as The Oscars. A little swearing during such a momentous occasion, she joked, should be excused.

2023 has been a banner year for Coolidge. She was honored as Harvard’s ‘woman of the year,’ which included a celebratory parade.

She embraced the festive spirit, attending the event dressed in an animal print coat and a fluffy pink hat, clearly enjoying every moment of her recognition.
