This buzz comes on the heels of Liz’s son, Damian, speaking out about directing his mom in a lesbian steamy scene—and he’s surprisingly unfazed by it.
At 58, Liz is starring in a new erotic thriller, Strictly Confidential, directed by her 21-year-old son Damian.
In the film, Liz plays a character named Lily in a story about Mia, who is haunted by the suicide of her best friend Rebecca.
After a teaser for the film surfaced online, fans were quick to criticize the movie
They were not pleased by the fact that Damian had directed his mother in a lesbian love scene.
However, Damian has since addressed the issue, saying he had no problem with the experience.
In fact, there weren’t even any intimacy coordinators on set, which is unusual for such scenes.
“I hate to say that it felt totally normal. I don’t know what that says about us,” he told The Sunday Times.
Damian added: “I was speaking to a lot of my friends who are also second generation of parents in the industry. They say exactly the same thing: that things to outsiders that may seem totally strange and extraordinary, for us we’ll just have grown up with in everyday life.”
Damian also mentioned that since everyone was so comfortable on set, there wasn’t any need for intimacy coordinators.
He went on to share that his mom had already given him the birds and the bees talk when he was “ludicrously young.”
