The 3-D Printing Revolution Purroves Cat Butts Are the Best Decor for Feline Lovers!

The 3-D printing revolution put the means of production into average folks hands, and the results can be hilarious. Experts once said it would transform the world, and maybe it has. In the world of cats, we’ve seen how 3-D printing helps cats with disabilitiesAnd there are lots of cool moving 3-D printed cats for us to play with. But here’s something that nobody was expecting!

3-D Printed Cat Butt/ Bread Clip

Recently, Cole and Marm mom Jess, who has been known to make exquisitely painted “Glitter Blinghole Butt Magnets,” came across a 3-D printed design with a similar theme in her social media feed. Blame AI because if you even think of something, it seems to show up repeatedly in your feed now.

The video is by a 3-D printer from Madison, Wisconsin, and features a red clip used to keep bread bags closed. Maybe it’s not all that unexpected since cats are often compared to bread, such as when they sit in the classic loaf pose.

Did you know that Marmalade is a pro at taking on many bread shapes?

As you can see below, this printed cat is holding the bread bag most curiously! However, it seems like this might actually work quite well. Who knew?

As TikToker 3digiprints shows, it not only looks funny, but the way it works is quite silly, too!

“I saved your bread. You’re welcome,” shared 3digiprints.

More 3-D Printed ‘ButtPals Bread clips’

As noted, it’s not the first time we’ve come across amewsing designs featuring cat butts. We also found an artist who specialized in stained glass cats from a similar angle!

If you simply must have a bread clip like this one, but have a dog, the original designer, Diego from Guatemala, also has a dachshund design!

Here’s how Diego described the designs:

“ButtPals are your best friends to keep bread fresh. Functional and fun, so be ready for them to spark conversation. I printed them in less than 35 minutes,” shared MEAFdesigns.

3-D Printing For Cats with Disabilities

Thanks to the wonders of the 3-D revolution, printed cat butts can keep your Wonder Bread fresh. But on a slightly more serious note, the process has also helped cats and other animals in many ways. Here’s an example by a designer who lives with a cat in a tiny home on wheels.

Cat dad Morley Kert lives with Penny, a black cat who has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which makes her wobbly on her feet. Kert used 3-D printing to construct a ramp so she could climb up to the home/van more easily.

As you can see, Penny does quite well on her own. You go, Penny! We’ve also seen printers help cats with various mobility and digestion issues, such as creating an elevated feeding station to help while they eat.
