Lauryn Goodman has been in tears, claiming that her baby daddy, Kyle Walker, is trying to “ruin her.”
Lauryn, 33, has recently come out of a tough legal battle with the 34-year-old Manchester City footballer after asserting that he was the father of her second child. Kyle eventually admitted that the baby girl was his but insisted he would only handle financial matters related to the child.
The two were involved in a legal dispute earlier this month, with reality star Lauryn taking Kyle to the High Court to sort out financial arrangements for their child, Kinara, as well as their four-year-old son, Kairo. Despite Lauryn’s numerous demands, she left the court empty-handed.
Single mother Lauryn had sought substantial financial support from Kyle for their second child, but her claims were quickly dismissed by the judge. Some of her requests included a £33k air conditioning system and a car for her nanny, who does not drive.
After the court proceedings, Lauryn intensified her demands by giving a revealing interview to the Daily Mail. In the explosive conversation, Goodman accused Kyle and his wife, Annie Kilner, of trying to “bury her,” but she firmly stated that she would not go down quietly.
“They’re about to ruin me forever. I have two children that I need to support,” she said, tearing up.
“They want the narrative that I’m buried and my kids are forgotten,” Lauryn went on to say. “But I can’t do that to my kids – I can’t let them bury me.”
Goodman expressed her determination to continue her career as a hopeful socialite and reality star. This comes after her public loss in court, with the full details of the case being disclosed to the public for the first time.
During the proceedings, Kyle admitted he felt there was a “detonator” over his head, fearing he had to appease Lauryn to prevent her from revealing all their secrets to Annie. It was also revealed that Lauryn made extravagant claims for financial support, including £500 a month for the maintenance of her hot tub, which she claimed was used exclusively by her children.
Despite the public embarrassment from the court case, Lauryn has made it clear she won’t stay silent about her situation. She insists that her actions, which have caused concern among her friends, are entirely for the sake of her two children.
Making her case, Lauryn explained: “My kids should have what Kyle and Annie’s kids have. They have Astroturf in their garden, so why shouldn’t mine? The law states that they should have the same.”
Lauryn and Kyle first got together while the Manchester City star was on a break from his then-girlfriend Annie in 2019. During this period, Lauryn became pregnant with their first child. However, Kyle managed to rekindle his relationship with Annie, leaving Lauryn out in the cold.
