The actress has been facing controversies for her tweets

In the last week itself, the production company announced that the actress was no longer employed by Lucasfilm and the company “had no plans to be in the future”. The company, without referring to any specific point, stated that Carano’s social media posts denigrate people based on their cultural and religious identities which is totally abhorrent and unacceptable by the company. Soon after this announcement, her agency “United Talent Agency (UTA)” also dropped her. The main reason behind all this action is believed to be series of tweets posted by the actress which triggered big controversy. Carano, in one of her tweets, is accused to have likened the condition of Jews during the Holocaust with the Republicans in America in the present. In another one, the actress turned fitness model mocked the use of pronouns in Twitter bio and had written ‘beep/bop/boop’ in her own bio.

Lucasfilm had warned the actress multiple times, reports say

According to multiple media reports, Lucasfilm had already warned the actress for her controversial tweets on social media and told her to be more careful in using social media platforms. In the recent interview, Carano had revealed that she was asked to share an apology statement by the production company in response to the Twitter bio controversy. However, she did not use their exact words and gave the apology in her own words. “This was the last time Lucasfilm contacted me for any public apology and I was not informed of the company’s decision of letting me go”, Carano concluded.
