The “much anticipated” mobile video game FAU-G (PUBG lovers would hate this word though) finally gets its released date. This “Made in India” game will be making its first appearance on 26th January i.e. Republic Day of India.  For the unversed, the upcoming online multiplayer video game FAU-G stands for “Fearless and United Guards” and was announced by Actor Akshay Kumar on September 4 ,2020 (who is the also the promoter of this game) on Twitter and Instagram. The announcement came right after the Indian Government banned PUBG citing “security concerns” on September 2, 2020. Since then FAU-G has created huge hype among Indian audience and went on to grab the record of highest number of pre-registration on Play Store in less than 24 hours.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is a promoter of this “aatmanirbhar” alternative of the most popular game PUBG, shared the trailer and registration link on his Twitter account on 3 January 2021.  The trailer can be streamed on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. He tweeted “Whether it’s a problem within the country or at the border…these Bharat ke Veer always stand tall. They are our Fearless and United Guards, our FAU-G”. The trailer, which runs for a min and thirty eight seconds, is full of action and is based in Galwan Valley of Ladakh. The music theme is in Hindi and Punjabi. Moreover, the players can be seen in Indian Army Uniforms.  According to nCore Games, who have developed this “Desi PUBG), the game will be a third person shooter game and will be “less violent”, which will feature a level based on recent clashes between Indian and China in Ladakh. Battle Royal Mode might be added by the developers in future.

Twenty Percent of the Revenue will be donated to “Bharat Ke Veer”, Developer Company says

The developers of this game, nCore Games confirmed that 20% of the revenue earned from FAU-G will be donated to Bharat Ke Veer, a foundation run by Ministry of Home Affairs to help families of Martyred soldiers. Let’s see if this game created for this noble cause can get the love of Indian Gamers.
