Miss World and trainee actress Manushi Chhillar have started to consider working on the script reading session for her upcoming movie, “Prithviraj”, which is a historical drama. The Femina Miss World 2017 was on Wednesday spotted at Yash Raj Studios and jubilantly posed for the paparazzi. She is seen to have been giving frequent visits to Yash Raj Studios, in order to prepare, train and mold herself for her forthcoming role.
The movie will be shot alongside Akshay Kumar, who filmed his recent “Bell Bottom”. Now, having his hands free, he is more than ready to play the role of Prithviraj Chauhan. The table reading was starting to be conducted for the script reading of the second half of the film ahead of the shooting, which is yet to continue. The historical drama will star Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan and Manushi Chhillar as the leading actress with the role of Sanyogita, the love of the king’s life, Yash Raj Studios has confirmed. The movie is based on the fearless, ruthless life of the Chahamana Rajput king, Prithviraj Chauhan, who had spent his passionately mighty days by showcasing multiple acts of heroism, vigor, and bravery. The big-budget film is said to be directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi – the same legend that had directed the famous and much-loved television epic series,” Chanakya”- and will be produced by Aditya Chopra, with the assistance of his production house, which is none other than Yash Raj Studios.
The movie also stars Sonu Sood, Manav Vij, Sakshi Tanwar, Deependra Singh, Nikkitha Chadha, Govind Pandey, Ajoy Chakrabarty, and Ashutosh Rana, portraying vital roles alongside Manushi Chhillar and Akshay Kumar. The 23-year old to-be actress stated that she has “miles to go” and does not want to let YRS down no matter what and that she finds the process of becoming an actress as “creatively satisfying”, as she had claimed. “It’s also important for me to put in this hard work because the production house has shown a lot of faith and trust in me and they have decided to make me a part of their biggest film”, she said. With previous historical dramas such as “Bajirao Mastani”, starring the elegant Deepika Padukone, international star Priyanka Chopra, and charming Ranveer Singh, “Panipat” with cheerful Kriti Sanon, “Tanhaji” with the incredible duo Ajay Devgan and Saif Ali Khan, and “Padmavati” again starring Deepika Padukone, fans are eagerly waiting and looking forward to binge-watch yet another Indian historical drama. The film was originally decided to be released by Diwali 2020, but due to the lethal pandemic, it has been postponed to a later date that is yet to be confirmed.
