Kim Kardashian has secretively settled a not-so-whopping amount of $6.1 million lawsuits with her ex-bodyguard’s security company that has “failed to protect” her during the time of her fatal robbery that took place in Paris, reported by The Sun. In October 2016, The 40-year-old star was tied up, gagged, and dumped in the bathtub of her hotel room whilst having a gun pointed to her head by 5 armed thieves who had disguised themselves as cops in order to gain access to enter the room. They ruined the room, ditched Kim, threatened her sickly with a gun, and managed to flee with around $10 million worth of jewelry, which includes a $5 million diamond ring that was gifted to Kim by her husband Kanye West.
Neglected During Crucial Time Of Crisis
The reality show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star, sued Pascal Duvier and his respective companies Protect Security and Balali Investments Inc, for negligence and allegedly for the amount paid to Kim by the insurance company for the valuable jewelry that was stolen on October 3rd, 2016. 4 years ago, Kim was left all alone fearing for her dear life when a group of robbers bomb-barded her Paris hotel room and raided her million-dollar jewelry collection. She was staying in town for Fashion Week at the hotel, Hôtel de Pourtales suite; her bodyguard had left her alone to escort Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner to a fancy nightclub, while she was being held dangerously at gunpoint. The 40-year-old star had then fired the German-born Judo expert and sued his company for negligence.
Lawsuit Was Being Dragged For Around 2 Years
This current lawsuit had been going on for around two years, but luckily, it is now been announced that Kim and her ex-bodyguard have reached a stable agreement before it has gone to trial. The plaintiff’s counsel informs the court that both the parties have reached a settlement agreement and are waiting on to defendant’s signature to proceed further, read the court documents. Kim’s trusted lawyer, Jay Harder, revealed that they would not be disclosing any further confidential materials of the secret settlement. The star feared that her sisters Kourtney and Kendall would be coming home to “find her dead” after the scary robbery.
