English singer-songwriter Adele is all set to return to Saturday Night Live- not as a musical guest, but as a host. Yes, you read that right. Adele is all pumped up and really giddy to start her very own special host duties, on the 24th of October in the next episode of Saturday Night Live with H.E.R. as the musical guest. Ever since its debut in 1985, SNL has evolved into a US Institution, grilling politicians and roasting celebrities. The show kick-started its 46th season on the 3rd of October and is produced in association with Broadway Video, with executive producer and creator Lorne Michaels. SNL had revealed the surprisingly jubilant news on Sunday, succeeding in the show’s third episode of the 46th season. She has appeared earlier on the show as a musical guest on October 8, 2008, on November 21, 2015, and on the eve of a very prestigious Presidential election.

The Grammy and Oscar award winner, who is yet to release new music ever since her most recent 2015 album “25”, expressed her uncontainable excitement about being the special host of SNL on her Instagram feed. “Blooooooody hellhole I’m so excited about this!! And also absolutely terrified! My first-ever hosting gig and for SNL of all things!!!!,” the singer had captioned gleefully in one of her recent posts.
It’s All Ready To Go!
The 32-year-old singer also stated that her time as a host comes almost 12 years to the day of her first SNL appearance as a guest, and it was due to that sacred appearance that massively assisted her to debut her career in music and launch her passion in the United States. The English musician has an account of over 7.5 billion global streams to date. H.E.R., who delivered her newest song “Do To Me” in the month of July, had also happily conveyed the news of her forthcoming entrance in a tweet, tweeting “I can’t wait!!!! #SNL”. Saturday Night Live is three weeks inside a hoarse stretch of five consecutive originals in the hasty running-ups to the November 3rd Presidential elections. Season 46 premiere was hosted by Chris Rock, followed by comedian Bill Burr who hosted the 2nd week’s show, and Issa Rae, who continued her hosting jobs last night.
